Students will study:
The GCSE History content comprises the following elements:
- one period study
- one thematic study
- one wider world depth study
- one British depth study including the historic environment.
Method of Study
You will attend class each week - where you will work alone or collaboratively with your fellow students and tutor, in which you will engage in stimulating discussions and classroom-based exercises to support your development and learning.

Students sit two examinations
Paper 1: Understanding the modern world
Paper 2: Shaping the nation
